Powerline Communication (PLC)
During its existence, Brunelco has worked in various projects with communication about the food lines. This technique is also used in the pulse wing so that the information from the modules on the seabed is available in the wheelhouse. In order to achieve sufficient speed, advanced OFDM modulation techniques are used, as known from the G3 standard. Communication over supply lines can be achieved for both AC and DC. Also the other way around: feeding over communication lines is possible, for example according to the POE standard. Depending on the chosen technique, communication can take place in two directions, either simultaneously or not (full duplex or half duplex). The technique reliability of the technique increases as the user can exert more influence on the infrastructure. By conditioning it with the right line filters, for example, the behaviour is more predictable.
